This page serves as a basic overview of the things you may need to know about the technology here at BCS.
If you haven’t already done so, please change your password from the default password to a password of your choice. This username and password will be used to access most corporation programs and resources. Notable exceptions would be Aesop (for substitute placements) and School Messenger (for closings/delays) which have a different login (see below).
If you are having trouble with technology and you can’t find your answer in the Helpdesk, please submit a Trouble Ticket for assistance from the Tech Department. Check out this video for help submitting a ticket.

Parentsquare is the primary communication tool used by Brown County Schools to send alerts, announcements, and other information to staff and parents. It communicates through email, text, phone, and via the Parentsquare app (iOS|Google Play). Staff accounts are created automatically using your corporation email address.
Check your contact information in Skyward.
For employees, you must create a School Messenger Contact Manager account to adjust your contact preferences. The Contact Manager allows you to check your contact information and adjust how you wish to be contacted for various message types.*
Follow this tutorial to create your Contact Manager account
*School closing/delay alerts are sent via phone and text message only. It is not sent through email. If you want an email, you will have to set additional notification options in Contact Manager.
If you are a BCS parent and an employee, please note that you may need to adjust your contact preferences for each account. Parent notification information can be adjusted through Skyward Family Access under the Skylert section.
» For teachers, paras, secretaries, and health assistants, requests must be completed in Report Absence-Frontline.

Log in to Skyward Employee Access to check your Time Off Requests, W2 information, and check history. Please contact the Business Department with questions regarding Skyward Employee Access.
All employees should have access to the school wireless network (EagleNet) for most personal devices. Notable exceptions are personal Windows-based laptops (for virus security purposes) and certain tablets/e-readers that do not support enterprise networking.
