The Brown County Career Resource Center (CRC) offers educational opportunities, individual counseling, and career-related services intended to improve quality of life and earning potential through lifelong learning. The individual benefits provided by the CRC become a cumulative benefit for the community as a whole, both economically and through inter-generational transfer.
Christy Wrightsman is the Director of Career Connected Learning for Brown County Schools. Mrs. Wrightsman serves to promote a pk-adult career continuum which includes the leadership and implementation of all adult education programs at the CRC. Mrs. Wrighsman joined the CRC as the Director in 2018. She has been a member of the Brown County Schools administration since 2006. Previous roles included Assistant Principal at Brown County High School, Principal at Nashville Elementary School, Principal at Van Buren Elementary School, and ROI Ready Schools Grant Coordinator.
Mrs. Wrightsman is a 1995 graduate of Brown County High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 1999, master’s degree from Ball State University in 2004, and Ed. S. from Indiana State University in 2018. She lives here in Brown County with her husband and two children. Mrs. Wrightsman enjoys seeing all ages pk- adult grow, learn and prosper. She is dedicated to serving the Brown County community in obtaining the educational resources and credentials that will lead to prosperous lives for themselves and this community.
