Admission Requirements: Students must possess a high school diploma, GED or HSE to enroll. All students will need to enroll in and complete a minimum of 12 hours in the CRC Adult Education program prior to starting the phlebotomy course.

Lectures will include medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, blood collection procedures, specimen communication skills and professionalism. Students will have hands-on lab practice sessions to learn the skills and techniques to perform the required puncture methods. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Vincennes University Certificate of Completion and have the opportunity to test for the National Healthcareer Association certification.
