Brown County Schools are small, rural and mighty. Teaching and learning is grounded in relevancy and based on principles designed to create well-rounded students who are ready for the world.

Everything we do revolves around your child’s personal path to success. And because we know the best learning happens when students feel safe and supported, Brown County K-12 schools focus on each student’s social/emotional wellness, communication, engagement, innovation and work ethic. We know our students and families personally, and we are committed to seeing them thrive.

We believe in providing our students with the highest quality educational experiences and world-class opportunities. This is why we collaborate with community and industry partners who help us expose students to new skills, resources and possibilities.

Brown County Schools Graduate Profile

Brown County students are well prepared and going places.

WE ARE COLLABORATIVE & COMMITTED.

We can do so much more together than we can ever do alone. Our small-school relationships are built on strong and compassionate communication, empathy and a desire to support each student’s path to success.

Our small size and rural setting is our strength, and we use it to communicate more clearly, stay connected and compassionate and to engage on a deeper level in the classroom and in the community.

Students will find encouragement and opportunities to be team players, problem solvers, and leaders. To express themselves, and be friendly, silly, spirited, driven, confident, connected, inspired and successful. Together.

Students and families will find support through Centerstone, our school-based mental health provider, Bring Change to Mind, a student-led mental health support group and our K-8 Second Step program that focuses on healthy, positive relationships and decision making opportunities. We invite parents to join us for monthly PTO groups and Councils.

We are committed to small-school relationships that make a life-long difference.
